Ramping Up for Spring

We've been doing quite a bit around the homestead, including baking, yogurt-making, some guerrilla gardening, planting and flood irrigation. Sadly, time for me is quite precious these days, so blogging has fallen by the wayside.

I went from only 3 hours of graduate classes/week to 18, plus my part time job, which is requiring more outside-of-the-work-day work. It's a bit overwhelming and once I get into my groove, I'll try to resume posting more regularly.

I'll sign off today with the promise of spring.
Peach blossoms

I really hope we don't have a late frost!

The apple is starting to leaf as well.

Wow, 18 is a heavy course load! Time management's going to be critical.

Your peach blossoms are gorgeous. We're hoping to avoid a late frost here but know we probably will have one. Time to go to the thrift store for extra plant covers!

What I like best about blogs is that they are real and ongoing... and the post frequency doesn't matter so much in my opinion... there's so much great content already that I just explore! Most bloggers quite after 5 months... you're rockin' the Desert Lean-To!!!!

Chile-Here's to hoping a late frost doesn't hit.

Corinne--So encouraging-thank you! I love blogging and wish that I did it more often. Your comment helps me feel that it's ok to post sporadically. Keepin' it real...

Heidi, Winter still lingers where you are and it's going to make a brief appearance tonight, too. After a few weeks in the 60s and 70s it will be around 35 tonight. Glad we have a wood stove to keep us warm, but what about the fruit trees??!! Keep your fingers crossed that they make it through.
